Commonwealth Transportation (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information when you visit commonwealthlogistics.live, submit an application, contact us, or opt in to our SMS communications. Separate notices may apply to information collected later during employment or another business relationship.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and application details: your first and last name, phone number, email address, selected position, and years of experience.
- Driver information: the number of moving violations and accidents you report, along with the CDL-A license and medical examiner’s card you upload when applying for a driving role. These documents can include identification and medical certification information.
- Submission details: an application reference, submission date and time, and uploaded document filenames.
- Application notice: the submission notice shown with your application, its version, the server-recorded submission time, and the Privacy Policy version. Older applications may retain acceptance records from the former application-declaration checkbox.
- Inquiries and correspondence: information you choose to share when contacting us by phone, email, or text, including a mailing address if you provide one in your correspondence or documents.
- SMS information: your separate SMS choice on the application form. If you opt in, we record the server date and time, consent wording and version, SMS terms version, and that consent came from the website application form, alongside your mobile number. We also handle messages you exchange with us and any opt-out or assistance requests through our messaging process.
- Technical information: our hosting and font providers may receive information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, requested pages or resources, and access times as part of serving the website.
Please provide only the information and documents requested. Do not include unrelated medical records, financial details, or other sensitive documents.
2. How we use your information
We use application details and documents to review your interest and qualifications, contact you about your application, and support onboarding. We use inquiry details to respond to your questions. Technical information may be used to operate the website, diagnose errors, and address misuse.
A notice above Submit Application confirms the accuracy of your information and acknowledges this Privacy Policy. There is no application-declaration checkbox. Submitting an application does not opt you in to SMS.
With your separate SMS consent, we may send recruitment-related text messages about your application, interviews, scheduling, and onboarding. We use this SMS consent only for these recruitment purposes.
We may also use or retain information where necessary to meet applicable recordkeeping requirements or respond to lawful requests.
3. Consent to receive text messages
SMS consent is optional. Our application form has one “SMS consent — optional” checkbox. It starts unchecked. You may submit with the box unchecked and the phone field blank, using your email for application follow-up. Choosing SMS requires a valid phone number. Providing a phone number or submitting an application does not by itself provide SMS consent.
The registered SMS brand is Commonwealth Transpotation. The program is conversations (external): one-to-one conversations with our recruiting team about application follow-ups and status updates, interview scheduling and reminders, recruitment appointment coordination, and onboarding instructions and updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms & Conditions.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by contacting us directly to request removal. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at (917) 238-4177 or commonwealthtransportation2@gmail.com.
SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Phone numbers and mobile information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for the full messaging terms.
5. Browser storage and cookies
When you submit a completed application, the form also attempts to save a backup in this browser’s local storage. It contains your contact details, role, experience, reported violations and accidents, reference, submission time, document filenames, submission notice version, and SMS choice. Any SMS opt-in includes a browser-recorded time and consent version. Older browser backups may contain the former declaration acceptance. The uploaded document contents are not saved in this browser backup.
This browser copy is created before the application is sent, so it may remain even if sending fails. It has no automatic expiration and may remain after you close the browser. To remove it, clear this website’s stored site data in your browser settings. Clearing browser data does not delete records already sent to us.
The website application does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Browser local storage is separate from cookies. Hosting and external services may have their own technical data practices.
6. Retention and security
Application records and documents are stored for review, follow-up, and applicable recordkeeping needs. The website does not apply an automatic deletion deadline to these records or uploads. Contact us to ask about the information held for your application or to request deletion.
We take reasonable steps to safeguard the personal information we handle, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. If you use a shared device, clear this website’s stored data after applying and remove any document copies you saved to that device.
7. Your choices and requests
You may browse without submitting an application. The online form requires the requested application information and documents required for your role. Phone contact and SMS are optional; you may apply using email without choosing SMS. You can contact us to discuss other application options.
You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you provided, or to ask us to stop application-related follow-up. Include your application reference if available. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request; please do not email identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate process.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe instructions provided or by contacting us. For text messages, reply STOP. Declining SMS consent does not prevent you from applying or asking about our services.
Your rights and our ability to fulfill a request depend on applicable law and any recordkeeping obligations. Clearing your browser’s site data removes only the browser copy; requests about submitted records should be sent to us directly.
8. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the matter.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Please review it before submitting new information.
